- I've read with interest all your messages about the menu effects.
- I give you my opinion about it.

- First, I'm defitively not interested in a techno rave effect, it's really
- good in a demo, but not in a game like Doom.

- I'm really interested in the Bad Mood logo with fire, this would look nice.

- I think that as it is a game, and we want to have it looking a bit
- professional, we could do this :

- a grey snapshot of one of the screens ( with monsters, ..) + the bad Mood
- logo in fire. The menu options would be on. And of course, a very nice
- tune for the athmospher.

- Of course, this wouldn't be realtime, but it would look pretty good, and
- if we read the animation from the disk, it wouldn't take that much memory.
- And as people here spoke about a Cdrom version of BadMood, it would be
- a nice effect.

- For the machine time, all the pictures of the animation could be in 256
- colors, which would permit to display the animation and the menu in one or
- two frames.

- I think here about raytraced animation, with an impressive burning logo.
- All the menu letters could be raytraced too, metallic, and reflect the
- fire.
